Insight Conversations
Insight Conversations are facilitated, thought-provoking conversations designed to bring people together around ideas that shape how we experience ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
Each Conversation begins with a compelling topic and unfolds through shared perspectives, stories, questions, insight, and genuine dialogue. Rather than following a predetermined path, the conversation develops with the people in the room—creating space for new perspectives, unexpected connections, laughter, recognition, and the occasional I never thought about it that way.
I bring observations and ideas into the room, ask questions, notice patterns as they emerge, and help deepen or expand the conversation along the way. The people in the room bring their own experiences, perspectives, and voices. Together, we explore what becomes possible when we slow down long enough to really think, listen, and talk with one another.
Insight Conversations can be brought into teams, leadership groups, retreats, sports teams, student and leadership-development programs, private groups, and other gatherings where meaningful conversation and fresh perspective would serve the room.
Current Conversations include The Noise, The Power of Language, The North Star, and Leadership.
CONVERSATION TOPICS
The Noise
We are influenced every day by more than we may realize—social media, technology, information, other people's opinions, culture, family, trends, experiences, and the messages we encounter simply by moving through the world.
The Noise invites us to become curious about those influences. What gets our attention? What have we absorbed along the way? What has become so familiar we no longer notice it? And how do we distinguish between everything we're taking in and what we actually think, feel, know, and choose for ourselves?
Together, we explore the noise around us, the many ways it can shape our perspective, and what becomes possible when we learn to hear ourselves through it.
The Power of Language
We are always in conversation—with one another and with ourselves. The words we use every day can shape how we understand one another, how we express ourselves, how we see who we are, and how we experience the world around us.
The Power of Language invites us to really hear those conversations. Together, we explore the language moving between us and the language we use within—the words we choose, what we intend, what someone else may hear, what we say about ourselves, and the phrases we've repeated so often we barely notice them anymore.
What might we discover when we begin paying attention to the language we're already using?
THE NORTH STAR
Our North Star is the intention behind the life we're creating—the principles, experience, energy, and meaning we choose to return to as we make decisions, navigate change, and move through different seasons of our lives.
We spend enormous amounts of time deciding what we want to accomplish. How often do we decide how we want to experience the life we're creating while we accomplish it?
The North Star opens a conversation about that distinction. Together, we explore what matters to us, what we want success to feel like, what we want to protect along the way, and what we want to return to as opportunities, decisions, and life itself unfold.
We can choose what guides us.
Leadership
Our relationship with leadership is shaped by what we've experienced, what we've admired, what we've trusted, and what we've chosen to follow.
Leadership creates space to explore that relationship—our own definitions of leadership, the qualities we recognize in ourselves and others, what creates trust and what erodes it, and what compels us to place our trust in a person, idea, team, organization, or direction.
Together, we consider how we lead, what we follow, what we stand for, and how those choices shape the way we show up in the world.
Leadership is a privilege. Where we lead from matters.
